Fern Lehmann is our nurse and is available to moms who have received a monitor from us. She can give you instructions on how to use and care for the doppler and how to best find your baby's heartbeat. She is also available to answer medical questions (although your best resource is always your doctor) and advise you when you are just anxious or if it is something your doctor needs to know about. Fern has had 4 pregnancy losses, and as a mom who has experienced loss and a nurse who has training in counseling women, she is available to talk to recipients of our dopplers who are feeling anxious or upset during their subsequent pregnancy either through email or over the telephone.
